I come here almost every day as I don’t have time to cook myself, the people that run the business have treated me with a lot of respect and exceptional customer service. Their Lamb karahi and mixed grill is amazing and usually my go to option, can’t recommend Star Karahi enough! The Nans that they serve are also the best I’ve encountered in Reading. Try for yourself and you won’t be disappointed.

Not fancy but the food is great. It is again real Indian food not the stylized British Indian you can get in 15 other Indian Restaurants. It is mainly takeout but they have a few tables. It is not fancy but the food is great. A good selection of vegitarian dishes and they spice them to what you want. They also can do something different if that's what you want

It didn't look like much from the outside and I was put off by the meaty advertising (I'm vegetarian). But we went in and the staff were super friendly and helpful. And then I ate the daal which was absolutely delicious. All the food was freshly cooked to order using delicious ingredients. I'll definitely go back for that daal.

Had a lovely authentic Indian meal whilst visiting my daughter's University Town. She is autistic and the quiet atmosphere of this lovely little place were perfect and calming. Lovely people running the place too. Thank you.
